Dave Sherwood, Workforce Development Officer

With a customer focused sales and marketing background, Dave brings communication, relationship building and project management skills to his role as Workforce Officer.

Dave has over 30 years of experience in football coaching – 26 of these include running his own club! Accompanied by roles at Southampton FC and Hampshire FA (as Disability Ambassador) he brings a lot of knowledge from the physical activity sector that he’s excited to utilise.

Personally, Dave achieved the Hampshire FA’s Bobby Moore Award which focuses on creating inclusive, player-centred environments that develop confidence, wellbeing and life skills that can be used on and off the football pitch.

He’s eager to combine these skills to support the Hampshire and Isle of Wight workforce so that everyone feels supported to deliver positive physical activity experiences.
