Hampshire FA are looking for someone to lead the continued expansion of their academy programme and oversee the delivery of a high-quality coaching and matchday programme to complement the education of their students.

Salary: £26,000 per annum
Contract: FTC to 30th June 2027
Location: Eastleigh
Hours: 35 hours per week

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of a high-quality coaching and matchday programme for young adults aged 16-19, supporting both male and female players as they develop their footballing and personal potential.

You will work in partnership with SCL, and help enrich and enhance a full-time football and further education programme, while leading the female squad and fostering an inclusive, welcoming environment that encourages participation and growth.

You will play a key role in safeguarding the welfare of all students across training and matchday settings, ensuring a safe and positive experience for every participant.

The successful candidate will also support annual student recruitment activities and contribute to the continued growth and success of the programme.

All aspects of the role will be delivered in line with Hampshire FA’s core values and its Evolving with the Game Strategy 2024-2028, helping to shape the future of football participation and development across the county.

The successful candidate will have:

• UEFA B Football Coaching Qualification or higher/ equivalent
• In date FA Safeguarding, FA First Aid Qualification and DBS Check
• Experience of working with and/or developing 16-19 year olds
• The ability to lead and inspire a team of coaches
