2026 marks five years of the We Can be Active Strategy for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. A milestone made possible by the passion, commitment, and collaboration of people and organisations working towards a happier healthier future for local people. As we celebrate how far we’ve come, we’re also taking stock of what’s changing, what we’re learning, and where we’re collectively making the biggest difference.
To do that, we’re launching a call for evidence – and we’d love your voice, your stories, and your insight.
We are crowdsourcing evidence from across the system: big wins, small shifts, changes in mindset or practice, and real-world impact on the people and communities we’re here for.
Evidence can be anything that already exists that helps paint the picture, this could include:
There are a number of ways you can take part:
If you’ve contributed to tackling inactivity in any way, we want to hear from you.
Your perspective will help us understand the impact of the past five years and shape the direction of the next five.
The evidence will be collated and, with the help of some expert evaluators, transformed into a five year impact report. We hope you can use this to celebrate the work you’ve done so far, galvanise even more people around the Strategy, and provide evidence for where you’d like to go next.
Please complete the short survey linked which will enable you to share your evidence. You can upload what you already have or share your thoughts and observations with us. The survey also provides the opportunity to be involved in a focus group. Please make your submission by Tuesday 31st March.
This is your chance to be part of the collective WCBA impact report (2021-26)
