The Hampshire School Games is one of our favourite events. Each year it’s full of fun, excitement, competition and inspiration.
The games provides us with a unique opportunity to help encourage more young people into sport. It’s designed to make sure that every school and every child has a chance to get involved – whatever their ability. For many young people, attending the games is the first time they will play at a countywide competition. This can often be the motivation for them to carry on with sport throughout school and beyond.
Here you can find everything you need to know about the School Games including the format of competitions and the latest news.

It was with great disappointment that we had to cancel the 2020 annual Hampshire School Games, that was due to take place in Aldershot in June, due to COVID-19. We hope to be back to delivering a one-day event again in 2021 but for now, we will be continuing to support the Hampshire & IOW SGO’s to deliver Virtual Competitions and daily challenges.
If you have questions please contact your local school games organiser. You can find their contact information below.
