The City Council coordinates the Walking for Health scheme in Portsmouth. All the walks are free to attend and there are walks for all levels of ability.
Joining a health walk is a great way to improve your health and wellbeing and to meet new people. The walks are ideal for those who would like to improve their health by increasing their physical activity levels. They also offer a fantastic opportunity to discover the green spaces and scenery that Portsmouth has to offer.
All walks are led by trained volunteer leaders. They are there to ensure the route is safe. The council publishes walk distance and time estimates so you know what to expect before you set off.
