Sue Forber, Sport Welfare Officer

Sue has spent most of her career working in mental health roles in the charity sector. She brings her experience of being a Designated Safeguarding Lead together with her personal drive to ensure that everyone participating in sport and physical activity feels included and is safe and effectively supported.

Sue will be working alongside local clubs and organisations across Hampshire and Isle of Wight to help build an increased understanding of local safeguarding and welfare needs, so that support can be provided to create a safe and friendly environment for all.

Sue enjoys yoga, pilates, and trail running in the New Forest. She practises mindfulness meditation, and is a qualified Mental Health First Aider.
