Pride in Our Workforce Conversation

Date: Wednesday 18 November 2 - 3.30pm   Location: Online

People who identify as LGBT+ are significantly less likely than heterosexual people to do enough physical activity to maintain ‘good’ health. Join us to discuss how those who work in physical activity and sport could help increase participation.

Funded by Sport England, we recently teamed up with researchers from Bournemouth University to explore the role of the workforce in LGBT+ participation in physical activity and sport. Their research concluded that the workforce (LGBT+ and non-LGBT+) has untapped potential to play a more prominent role.

Hot on the heels of this research, we’re hosting an online Pride in Our Workforce conversation. Join us and guest speakers to explore Bournemouth University’s findings. We’ll talk about the research, the wider topic and how we can work together to improve workforce interactions with LGBT+ communities.
