DESCRIPTION:Join Ann Craft Trust for ‘Safeguarding Adults in Sport – Essential Training for Club Welfare/Safeguarding Officers (England & Wales)’\nTuesday\, 1st July\, 2025\nOnline \n\nThis session includes how to identify and respond to concerns and disclosures\, and how to create a safe culture within a sport or activity club setting in England and Wales. \n\nDate:  Tuesday 1 July \nTime:  6.00 pm – 9.00 pm \nCost: £45 per delegate. \nBy the end of the course\, participants will understand: \n\nThe role and responsibilities of the Club Welfare Officer\nWhy we need to safeguard adults in sport and activity.\nHow to Identify poor practice and types of abuse and neglect.\nHow to respond and deal with concerns about adults.\nWhere to go for further information and advice on safeguarding adults.\n\nThis is all underpinned by understanding how we can create a safer culture. \nWho is this training for?\nThis training is for Sport and Activity Club Welfare/Safeguarding Officers in England and Wales. \nFor those with no previous safeguarding adults training\, Ann Craft Trust would recommend completing the Introductory Training prior to attending this course. \nWhat type of training is this?\nThis Essential Training consists of a 3 hour online tutor-led training session. \nBook your place
