DESCRIPTION:Face-to-Face Physical Activity Clinical Champions (PACC) Training in Ryde\, supporting healthcare professionals to improve patient care and outcomes through physical activity.\nTwo identical sessions will be available on the day. Attendees only need to attend one of the sessions. \n\n10:30–12:00\n13:00–14:30\n\nThe training will take place at: \nWestridge Community Learning Centre\nRyde\, PO33 1QS \nIntended Impact\nAs a result of attending this course\, participants will be able to: \n\nUnderstand what physical activity is\nDescribe the UK CMO PA guidelines\nExplain the benefits of physical activity for management and prevention of long-term conditions\nUnderstand common barriers to engage in physical activity\nUnderstand how to consider risk\nDevelop an understanding of behaviour change principles and know where to learn more to have better conversations\n\nLearn more on the Isle of Wight Council website.
