Did you know that 1 in 10 young people have a diagnosable mental health problem? That physical activity can actively protect and improve young people’s mental health? That many organisations now consider mental health first aid to be as important as physical first aid?
In this FREE online workshop, you will explore the most common mental health conditions experienced by young people and learn what youth and sport workers can do to prevent and/or intervene when needed.
Volunteers, coaches, youth workers, and Satellite Club staff.
Everyone attending receives a mental health first aid manual and an attendance certificate.
Youth MHFA is an internationally recognised training programme designed specifically for people who teach, work, live with or care for young people aged 8 – 18.
