Project Officer - Workforce
Date: Tuesday 2nd November 18:00 - 21:00 Location: Online Cost: £0
Did you know that 1 in 10 young people have a diagnosable mental health problem? That physical activity can actively protect and improve young people’s mental health? That many organisations now consider mental health first aid to be as important as physical first aid?
In this FREE online workshop, you will explore the most common mental health conditions experienced by young people and learn what youth and sport workers can do to prevent and/or intervene when needed.
Volunteers, coaches, youth workers, and Satellite Club staff.
Everyone attending receives a mental health first aid manual and an attendance certificate.
Youth MHFA is an internationally recognised training programme designed specifically for people who teach, work, live with or care for young people aged 8 – 18.
Please only book a space if you know you can make the date.
Participants should be supporting young people in Hampshire (including Portsmouth, Southampton, and Isle of Wight).
We ask that no more than 1 participant per organisation – if you have additional staff or volunteers who would benefit from this session, please drop us a line at Emma.Dovener@energiseme.org or email@example.com
If you have any additional needs or learning requirements, please get in touch as we would love to accommodate you as best we can!
